Local 195 has been representing Workers in Windsor-Essex since 1936 and today consists of 48 diversified Workplaces with a Membership of approx.4,800.

Unifor Local 195 has developed a strong voice in the Windsor-Essex County Area as representatives of working men and women in the workplace. Our strength is built upon our Membership and In-plant trained & knowledgeable Representatives. Every time we call upon our Membership to step up to one of the many challenges facing our Local Union they respond with enthusiasm and support.

That response is always swift and in the best interest of our Members. We have in the last few years, enjoyed substantial growth to our Local Union and enormous success at the Bargaining Table on behalf of our Members.

We have and are proud of the good relationships we enjoy with most of our workplaces. We recognize there is still a lot of work to be done and we are confident that our Local Union and its Members will continue to be successful.
